WIP Gas Forge with Pics and Questions

What size burner jet did you go with? Might want to go with smaller ones. Your flame may also look a bit different once the moisture is completley gone from your liner. Also that honestly looks like a lot of burner for your chamber size. Hard to tell from the pics though.

The burners are 3/4" pipe with stainless flares from HTT, the welding tips are .035. The volume of the forge is about 440 cubic inches - I had read somewhere you wanted one burner for every 325-350 cubic inches.

I also need to play with the position of the accelerator in the reducing tee. In those pictures the welding tip was about 2/3 of the way into the Ward reducer (looking through the side flange the tip was about 2/3 of the way through the circle). Does that sound about right? Thanks again for the feedback.
 
That should be the right size mig tip. The position of the tips sounds OK too, I've not observed it to be too critical however. I guess I'd just keep playing with running the burners on low psi values and messing with the chokes. I think the forge will run better as the liner "burns in" a bit more, too.
