Wire clips, good or bad?

Sal,

Thanks for making both. I really like the wire clip for EDC, it's so much easier on furniture and anything else I brush up against. How about a low rider version (with a 180 degree bend) as an option?

Chris

The UKPK and the upcoming Caly3 have deep pocket wire clips. There's been some discussion of making an accessory clip for the Endura4 and Delica4.

Ha, I love it. The quote, not all the slobber:D :o

Ditto on pulling for low ride wire clips!

The low rider wire clip is one of the things that really put the icing on the cake for the Caly 3.

Why all the fuss about low rider clips? All it does is make the knife harder to get out of your pocket. I have never had a problem with the normal pocket clips. If you want it to ride really low, just take the clip off and it will ride as low as it will go. LOL.

Seriously, Sal, you are doing a heck of a job. The Calypso 3 is a knife that we have been asking for and you gave it to us. We are very lucky to have a man like you on this forum so we can speak directly to you. Spyderco is in good hands as long as you are at the helm.

I love wireclips too. In fact, I like them so much that I converted some of my Delicas to wireclips (low ride and regular). I think wireclips match very well with FRN or G-10. But for SS knives, I'd rather stick to the regular clip.

Until recently I was kind of skeptical about wire clips, but since I bought Caly3 I like it very much on this knife. In my opinion wire clip is part of design and on some knives it will be great, on others regular would be better.

the wire clip on my d'allara is splendid. Low-ride, low-key, non scratch and not aggressive towards catching on things like the caly jr clips.

Sign me up for more wire clips thanks.
