Wish me luck......

I spent several hours in the ER being worked on people I work with on a daily basis. It was quite bizare because I don't even remeber half of what was done to me or what was said.

But I'm alive and I'm gonna' be for a looooooong time.

Thanks you all for your good thoughts. :D

So glad to hear that things eventually worked out well for you. "In all things, give thanks"!!

By the way, since you were out of it while being worked on by your co-workers... you'd better check your pockets and inventory any "bling" you might have been wearing.:) What was done to you and what was said will soon be clear enough once your co-workers put the video up on YouTube.:D

If they have any sense of humor at all we should be seeing some really strange & funny pictures of you real soon.

If I were you, now is the time to be nervous.

Glad everything is okay.

Ken,
Sorry to hear about the reaction. Gotta ask, how soon post procedure did they release you to go home? Like I said, in our facility, normal caths are 3 hours observation minimum.

Again, glad to hear you had no blockages.

Glad to hear that you are OK. Remind me to tell you about the time I was dehydrated and delirious. Boy did I do and day some really stupid things.

Glad you're heart is OK! That's the important thing.

Shame about the complications. But atleast it's all over now.

It's great to see you're okay. The only time I was ever given morphine, I ended up puking up everything I had eaten the previous ten years. At least that's the way it felt.

I think I may have you beat by 2 years. ;)

So there goes your lifelong dream of quitting the FD & becoming a Junkie.
Good on ya Ken- glad everything checked out OK.
Cheers!

Great news, Ken.

I was a little nervous for you because the road to my early retirement from the job we love so much started the very same way. :(

Oh, and I heard your buddies in the ER used two tubes of K-Y.
