Wish us luck tomorrow.

Thank you all!!!!!!!

I just returned from the hospital to rest for an hour or so and I'm happy to report that all is well at this point. The surgery was a success and there were no complications or surprises. The Doctor's expect him to make a full recovery and be better than ever.

Your outpouring of prayers, well wishes and encouragement is overwhelming and are truly appreciated! Thank you all my friends.

I've talked further with Plumber and he said his son is doing very well in recovery and has spoken with him some. His color looks very good and he is resting. He also extends a huge thanks to each and everyone here on the forum for your prayers and good wishes. Thanks to all. DM

Wishing your son Ken a speedy and full recovery Dave.

I've known a few people that had valves replaced, and the doctors have made major advancements to the process in recent years.

Hi everyone and thanks again! Last night Ken was awake (sort of) and did talk a little with us. He looks great for what he's gone through and even tried a little joking with his nurse. Actually one of the most amusing things he said was "Dad, sometimes it starts to hurt a little just for no reason". NO REASON!!!!!! I almost LOL'd at that one.

Thanks again everyone.

Glad it went smooth, this is a common surgery nowadays,he will be better than ever in a few months time he won't kniw what to do with his energy!best of luck with a speedy recovery.

Dave I just read about this and glad things are going well for Ken, and you, and the rest of the family.
