Wondering....

Beautiful animals!

Hey Adam!! If you're talking spring powered rifles the 2 most amazing are Air Arms, a fantastic English made rifle and HW, German made.
They are so incredibly accurate it is literally unbelievable!!
I like .177 and have put 10 pellets into one hole that you can cover with a dime!!
Also, you can shoot all day in your backyard, if you don't have a petrified neighbor, for about $8 in pellets!!
Top is an HW break barrel that is a laser!! German.
Bottom is 2 English made rifles.

Bummer :( . As an aside, what are some of the top tier air rifle brands these days o_O ?

I think it basically comes down to the way people grew up from yester years to today.
I grew up in a rural area and almost every boy and some girls carried pocket knives and it was hard to find an adult man that didnt carry a knife and they were used daily as tools from cutting an apple to twine or anything else around the farm or garden.
These days most kids grew up not even knowing where their food comes from let alone that someone worked their tail off raising and butchering it with of all thing a knife "GASP" .. and I have carried a handgun for 25 plus years and it is still a tool a tool for defense and to me only becomes a weapon when used with ill intent.
And alot of these latest attacks people using cars and knives or other objects ...people have unfortunately been killing one another since time began ... whether it was with a rock a stick a sword a knife a gun ... and they if they want to harm someone will find a way.
The hammers and power tools that carpenters and plumbers and other service men carry into our homes and work places daily are far more dangerous then most knives.
And maybe I'm a countryboy but they are all tools that serve a legitamate purpose until someone with bad intentions decideds to use anything even as simple as a pencil or pen and make it a weapon.

Thinking about it, I've come to the conclusion that the biggest problem facing us, not just us knife-nuts, but EVERYONE, is the fact that so many people have either forgotten or just never learned how to mind their own damn business. Say something they don't like, express an opinion that doesn't really pertain to them, have something they don't like, and they get all uppity like they're more important than you. Their opinion is the only one that matters. What they like is more important than what you like. Got news for them. There AIN'T no social utopia. Never has been, never will be. Because nobody tells me how or what to think. I've asked this question of many people: What is a RIGHT? And the answer? A RIGHT is something 300 million screaming retards can't tke away from one law abiding citizen. You don't like it? Go somewhere else, I have better things to do with my time than defend my right to be who I am to some ijjit who thinks I should be made to do things the way he/she thinks I should.

And, Charlie Mike, nice accessories! Anytime I am not at work, I also carry a REAL knife(SOG S-1 bowie, most times). And a .45....

Of course, I don't really understand a grown man screaming like an 8yr old girl when he sees a spider or snake, either.
I don't get why grown women do it.

It's context like herlock said. Plus we all know "that guy" from middle school. ;) Everything eventually gets ruined by the small minority who have their heads up their bums or are just plain insecure.

Plus...Hollywood.

Thank you!
Very well put.

Knives are definitely a weapon and a tool. Most people don't carry knives and mainly use a knife in the kitchen(tool), so it's not that hard to see how they would consider a knife outside of that environment a weapon.

Really? A weapon and a tool? Why is it automatic that it becomes a weapon?

I don't consider the knives I carry weapons. Just tools. True, I could actively choose to use my knife as a weapon. But I could also do that with my toothbrush. Does that mean my toothbrush is weapon? I doubt it. Nothing carried by an individual really is a weapon until our actions make it so.

When are the American people and our elected officials going wake up and realize the real danger is the choices and actions of an individual?
