Cool! Here is a short quote from Bernard Levine on the Wyeth's knives that I managed to dig up:

Wyeth Hardware & Mfg was a hardware wholesale house in St Joseph, Missouri, founded in 1860. It did not make knives, but rather sold private brand WYETH'S WARRANTED CUTLERY knives made for it.
