Man, that one is right up my alley. Aside from being beautiful, how do you like the knife?

I like it a lot, the fit and finish is not quite as good as on the GEC knives I have but its not far behind on this one. I have heard that build quality can vary quite a bit on these Heritage series knives.

Ignore the nontraditional with the pseudowood Paperstone handles. My ebony Radio Jack gets me into this thread.

Sometimes I need the convenience of a one-handed opening beater knife for getting chores done. But the smooth, warm feel of the ebony can't be beat.

Ebony is my favorite. Here's my #15 Radio Jack in ebony. My Indian River Jack in ebony should be here tomorrow.

Ron thank you for your appreciation, I feel lucky to have been able to land that one.

The 55 is an excellent pattern, not enough recognition for it I believe.

Regards, Will

My favorite wood by far is African Blackwood. For the majority of this last week it's been the #81 as my primary in the RFP :)

Happy Wooden Wednesday!

Here's a trio of woodies

ebony Farmboy, Rosewood Toothpick, and a wee Wadsworth in Ebony (possibly very aged rosewood)

and for the heck of it, this Juniper Damascus Laguile En Aubrac, you can just smell that Juniper right?
