I don't have this in hand yet, but I think the handle has potential. Hopefully a few coats of oil will bring out the wood's chantoyance.

I just picked up these pieces and now am trying to decide on which knife I want them on.
I would welcome some suggestions.

Anything is open for consideration. I have some older lockbacks, mountain man, traditionals, fixed blades.
These are cocobolo root. 5×2×3/8.

Woah! That looks like an Owl! Better not let @pertinux see them!
I'm curious. What kind of wood is that and what size are the pieces? I could see those on a nice fixed blade.

Will Power Will Power I love the Dixie. I waited and waited and all that was left was maroon linen. I wish I would have scored some ebony like yours. The angled bolsters look sweet too.

Riz! Thanks very much. Actually, it's Blackwood- I had a chance for a good Stag one but decided I couldn't afford it at the time, more's the pity. I'd like an Osage as a user though. Would be excellent if GEC produced a scaled down Mini version as the blade combo is super and they lie flat in the frame, no high riding humps! GEC need to address a Small or Medium Stockman I feel.

That's a beautiful knife C Carusify but it's very definitely a modern knife and not appropriate for this subforum.
