Dave, those are both beautiful knives. I'm especially intrigued by the Red Oak. That's definitely got my wheels turning. This also gives me another opportunity to share your magnificent work and my love for Cocobolo.

afishhunter I think thats a fine name for that tool. It is used to transfer angles from one piece of wood to another. The small brass lever is a locking mechanism.
