Well, the sun finally came out this morning after 3+ days of solid gloom, so I was able to take a picture of my new wooden wonder.

No matter the lighting it is so hard to capture the beauty of this Ebony of film :o

I always hold off saying "This is the knife" so I'm saying nothing ;)

Cocobolo 66

!! Be still, my heart!! Sure would like to have a 66 jack in cocobolo. I might possibly have a couple of boy's knives in the mail today with cocobolo. If so, I'll stick one in my pocket for sure.

Edited to add: Checked tracking on the package from Mike and it doesn't look like they will make it today, so I will be carrying this Ka-Lok in what appears to be rosewood.

Note, I thinned the blade on this quite a bit. Performs noticeably better with vegetables and wood now. The thinning produced the curved line of the shoulder on hollow grind. I actually like the curve.
