I believe we do have the same shield. The tip of my main blade has been damaged, and it has one nick in the edge I have yet to sharpen out, but is otherwise a great blade considering its age. Your pen looks to have quite a bit more steel remaining than does mine.

Niice! They are brothers!
I'm beginning to suspect that mine's had some surgery, though, after looking at this photo of yours. My main blade has no tang stamping at all, and even though the liners are tight against the springs, has significant sideways wiggle. Seems to me that it may be a replacement blade, stuck in there by a previous owner. Then again I could be wrong... maybe some were not stamped on the main blade, I really don't know much about LF&C.
Either way, they sure are a nice pair of classic pocket knives. Thanks for showing yours! :)
 
Posted this on the "what are you toting today" thread. I thought that I would add it here to. Not the best photo, but the #66 made it through another night at work.
