This doesn't have the WOW factor of so many of our wood covered knives. In fact I can't wait to receive my GEC 44 in cocobolo so I can show it off here. What it does have is what it should have. A comfortable, sturdy design at a price that allows me to buy 10 of them (if I want) at the price of many production knives. It's easy to throw it in my pack with no cares yet it still doesn't show damage and a blade shape that I like.
A nod of the head in thanks to @flatblackcapo who first posted a MAM way back. It's in the same vein as other ethnic/peasant knives such as Opinel and others.
