Wooden Wednesday - Traditionals only please

This week's carry contains three wood-clad knives.
Like Alan, I happen to be carrying a MAM this week - mine is the Iberica model:

I've literally taken 100 photos of this old Walden previously and could never capture how cool the wood grain / color was on it. Then last night while the sun was setting, I was sitting at my desk in the knife cave... the opportunity found me... I SAW THE LIGHT!!!:D:thumbsup:

I know exactly what you mean Kevin. In trying to catch a decent shot of all my Cocobolo knives I have become frustrated many times. Glad you were in the right place at the right time. Will you be back same time today? I know you've got more knives that will benefit from that great light!!!

Wood...and brass, haven't been my favorite dress. But, have been anticipating the 44 in Brass and cocobolo I have ordered as well as reminding what I fell in love w/ about the Buck 110....110 years ago.

This one should patina nicely.

Very handsome knife. How old is it? Cocobolo?

Thanks, Tavman. It was confirmed by a member here to be a 1974 production by tang stamp (Roman numerals) The wood..? Not sure..my first thought was cocobolo as well..I am curious, will have to research a little further..
