Is that like a pocket cleaver? That looks like it would be mighty handy around camp.
Hey, John. It's a pretty sturdy Wharncliffe. I haven't used it as a cleaver but it would probably do a good job. .095" CPM-S35VN stock, heat treated to 60-61 RC, 2 3/4" blade, 5 3/4" overall length. Really nice sheath, Hermann Oak veg tan leather has a crocodile overlay and a double loop calf lace stitch.
Makes a nice companion around the property and in the woods. Got it on the exchange from the maker @zuluninja. Nicely done and priced right.

Very impressive knife.

That Tarmumdi is beautiful and the blade shape looks really versatile
Thanks, solphilos solphilos . :) I call it my Spanish Barlow because of the big bolster, but it's a friction folder. The charred boxwood handle mesmerizes me, and the blade is very thin. I agree that it's a versatile blade shape, kind of like a sheepsfoot with a hint of belly or a spearpoint with hardly any belly.
