I bought the Trestle Pine gunflint for the guy who gave...that s right GAVE me the table it's is sitting on...(that s the underside btw)
Reclaimed Aussie hardwood and an absolute masterpiece of heirloom quality.
Old Carbon Custom on Instagram if anyone wants to see beautiful stuff made of wood.

Very nice Jon! My wife recently refinished a table that her grandfather built when he was fairly young. It sits in the great room now. The Aussie hardwood I'm sure is spectacular but I would encourage you to turn it over and use the good side...

One things for sure ...as far as kitchen tables go I've traded up in the world.
Nice to bring something back to life that
holds good memories...my Granddad was as big fan of screwing castor wheels on everything and using some kind of toxic plastic iron on veneer to give a modern 1970s look to ugly old fashioned natural timber lol.
