Thanks guys! Been using the copper on kitchen knives for a while now and thought I'd branch out some, although I have done it as a special request here and there in the past.
 
A pair for Wooden Wednesday. Case-Bose collaboration Norfolk Whittler, and a Little Dozier designed by Dan Crotts.
I didn't whittle St. Francis, he was a gift from my daughter in Santa Fe. I thought it would make a nice backdrop.

Looks like some of the rosewoods I've used in the past with that open grain?
When I bought that knife off of the exchange a few years ago, one of the porch members told me he thought it was recovered with Cocobolo. When I hold it up to the sunlight with some of my Cocobolo knives, it does look just like them. It even has the red highlights that Cocobolo has.
