When I bought that knife off of the exchange a few years ago, one of the porch members told me he thought it was recovered with Cocobolo. When I hold it up to the sunlight with some of my Cocobolo knives, it does look just like them. It even has the red highlights that Cocobolo has.Looks like some of the rosewoods I've used in the past with that open grain?
