Without the long open grains maybe so but I keep thinking of this rosewood.

Course cocobolo is a rosewood so we may be splitting straws into toothpicks into splinters. Quien Sabe? Travman

Paul, I was away from slip joints for quite a few years, as a result, I missed out on many of GEC's releases. I most certainly would have added a beauty like that.
