How's that book? I might have to check it out.
I absolutely love this book. I have read it dozens of times. It resonates with me because fishing in my family skipped a generation, I spent a lot of time either fishing by myself or fishing with older men, (and sometimes my grandmother so I guess I should say older folks :)).
This book is the one that turned me on to Harry Middleton in general. I highly doubt you would be disappointed with any of his books.

The one book I haven’t read is The Starlight Creek Angling Society.
It is a short book with only 500 copies in print all of which were signed just before his death. Harder to get then a GEC, and they go for around $1,500 or more! Sorry for the over exuberance, he’s just a very compelling writer.:)
