I'm going to cheat a bit with some faux wood materials: this is the Benchmade Gold Class "Proper" slip joint with Damasteel blade, Mokume Gane bolsters (for those who don't know, Mokume Gane is the Japanese metal technique similar to Damascus of forging layers of gold/copper with silver or steel to mimic wood grain) AND Micarta scales in a wood grain pattern. I think it is a bad mo' faux. Oh, the desk it is on is Zebrawood, if that counts.
