Yes, a hotdog shield would propel it to greatness.
I do love a good hotdog.
I had hoped to have a Lambsfoot made with Yorkshire oak coversVery nice.![]()
I wish Oak and Walnut would get used more.
Looks good ToddThis guy hasn’t really been used yet. I like it a lot more than I originally thought I would, I just wish it was as smooth as my Owl. Maybe, if it had a hotdog shield, I could overlook that.View attachment 1869513

Stimulating variety of wood in your trio today, José!
Opulent Okapi, Tom! Is that the original resin-impregnated wood, or a re-handle?
Drop-dead gorgeous drop point blade, Alan!
Regardless of blade steel, IMHO your oak sowbelly stockman is sensational!!My two today.... the Case sowbelly in curly oak, and the Case half whit in maple burl.... the oak has some pretty good chatoyance on one side, but it's difficult to capture in a photo.... if it was CV steel, it would be perfect.... it's only "great" because of the TruSharp....

Fun Fact: 6 is my favorite number, Harvey!
Maybe a mustard stain on the blade would be close enough, Todd! This guy hasn’t really been used yet. I like it a lot more than I originally thought I would, I just wish it was as smooth as my Owl. Maybe, if it had a hotdog shield, I could overlook that.View attachment 1869513

Those ebony lambsfoots are classics, Steve and John!
Those are great shots of your Union Jack Gary![]()
Thanks, Jack and Todd. Every once in a while, for reasons that I can't explain or replicate, I get some nice pics. I "enhanced" these by boosting the "color dial" a bit beyond natural.Very nice photos Gary.![]()
First year or so I owned it I couldn't open it the pull was so strong. Then one day I pulled it out and it went from a 10 to an easy 7. Go figure.Drop-dead gorgeous drop point blade, Alan!
