No worries, I'm not doing anything silly like flicking it open and close. That's what balisongs are for. Rather, I slip my index finger through the ring and twirl it around.

Balisongs are illegal here now! You can buy a fixed blade, or a 4ft handled bill-hook for that matter, but not a balisong!
