Wooden Wednesday - Traditionals only please

Rosewood Buck 112 drop point & some fresh herbs this Wednesday 😉

I think the Buck 110 and 112 look SO much better with a drop point blade than with the standard clip!:thumbsup::cool:

No wood assigned to me to carry this week, but this Mexican bocote 83 (thanks, Jeff) has been on the kitchen counter helping me with food prep, especially big fresh strawberries!!

I agree, especially on the 112. The lines just seem to flow better. Not to mention it's a stout little bulldog of a knife that keeps its slice ability. I have both a 110 & this 112 in a drop point configuration. I originally bought a 110 SFO drop point in rosewood years ago & my dad got me this matching 112 as a gift.
Your #83 looks amazing btw, it has a great grain coloring to it 👍

Your drop point 110/112 combo sounds very cool, especially with one of them being from your dad!:cool::cool:
Thanks for the kind words on my #83; I really like its stripes! :)

I'm carrying a couple of ligneous knives this week: a Cannon sheepsfoot sailor knife and Union Jack, my rosewood Wright lambsfoot.

I wrote about midsummer holiday and knives in non trad forum, about what tools I need. Then I thought that midsummer holiday is one of the most traditional in Finland, full of memories and beauty (regrettably also often too much alcohol). So this will come along in a couple of days. One of the traditions is bathing in the sauna, beating yourself and your friends with "vihta" made of Birch boughs, made with a puukko. Sounds strange, but is good for your skin done in moderation.
