Very nice
Aside from the checkering, blade etch, tang stamp, and slightly patina'd bolsters, it looks identical to my Imperial Frontier 4435 Double Eagle.

TBH, I am not sure if the Imperial Frontier 4435 Double Eagle is/was "thrifty" when new or on today's "not new" market.
(I really should get a patina going on the bolsters of mine ...)

Some very pretty Walnut. In the background is the nice tree that kind enough to donate some dead limbs. I love this tree until it starts dumping walnuts everywhere.

Managed to nab this last week, s/h and needs some spa treatment, but nice burr - not sure, will check on it
