  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Wooden Wednesday - Traditionals only please

A timber-clad trio for me this week.
Big Joker with olive wood handle:

Flexcut Whittlin' Jack with walnut inlays on the handle. (The inlays seem almost paper-thin to me; I almost posted it as my Metal Monday entry for the week because it must be about 99.8% metal by weight. 🤓 )

Black Jack, my 2018 ebony Guardians lambsfoot:

Some very figured ironwood on this Poco:

Very nice😁👍
Aside from the checkering, blade etch, tang stamp, and slightly patina'd bolsters, it looks identical to my Imperial Frontier 4435 Double Eagle.

TBH, I am not sure if the Imperial Frontier 4435 Double Eagle is/was "thrifty" when new or on today's "not new" market. 🤔
(I really should get a patina going on the bolsters of mine ...🙄)
