Many thanks Paul :thumbsup: The mark side is just as striking but with Bocote everything turns a uniform brown eventually...it does reside in the tube hough and gets taken out to worship from time to time:D. I've always wanted a decent Stag version of this as a user but never landed one.

Thanks. I've been on Buck's Custom Shop site many times, ogling the custom models they have, but never pulled the trigger on one until last month, when they started offering Magnacut in some models.

For an added cost, they offer different bone, stag & some exotic woods, for handle materials. Ebony, walnut, cherry, and oak are all offered at no extra cost, over the base price of the build. I don't recall ever seeing a Buck on these pages with oak scales, so that's what I decided to get.
