Cocobolo and black locust

IMG_20240828_131153384~2.jpg

I did the final polish on the black locust this morning and it turned out awesome. The cocobolo definitely isn't the most chatoyant piece I've ever seen but it's pretty. I've tried getting it to take some oil and I polished it this morning. It pops a little more than when it got here. Nice wood regardless.

GEC #74 Che Chen Rosewood.

Any tips to getting a little lustre going here?
I’ve tried mineral oil and a little “Axe Wax” in the past.

One of my favourite GECs, I’m always trying to edc it but something more pointy always works its way into my pocket. This has the snappiest W/T out of the collection.
