I really like the way the pile side wood appears to be "naturally crosshatched"!
Did Case inform you what type of wood (e.g., oak or walnut or white pine) was used for your handle, or did they just call all of it "antique river logs" without trying to identify individual species?

The only timber-clad knife for me this week is a Böker Beer Barrel canoe (thanks, Todd):

Orange dyed curly maple. Despite a valiant attempt I was unable get the lighting right to capture the chatoyance. Get everything just right and it really "pops"
