  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Procrastination is what I do best, apparently.... I missed posting these yesterday... but they are my carry for this week...
The 23 in mesquite is my favorite "bigger" knife, riding in the cargo pocket... The Sowbelly in curly oak would be almost perfect, if they had made it in CV steel....but it sharpens up pretty nicely...

And, the wonderful ebony Bunny knife in the watch pocket... these three cover the entire spectrum of anything I could possibly need a knife to do....

Bunny is looking well loved 🙌..
Yes... 😁 it is one of my very few favorites. I like to use my knives, and the main (usually clip) blades are my dedicated "food/eating" blades, so they tend to darken faster than the "working" blades....
The 23 was actually pretty dark, so I used extra fine scotchbrite to smooth it out to an even gray several months ago... it's beginning to age nicely.

I can not remember the type of wood. It is one I am not familiar with. I did buy those pre shaped so I just had to glue them on. I do have some were they are a rough cut out and you have to drill and shape them. Both are enjoyable. Interestingly the pre done ones are cheaper then the others I have done. Depends a lot on where you get them from. The pre done ones I got from Etsy.

Looks great!! What wood is that? Did you make the wood covers yourself, or can you buy them ready to glue on?
