At least my office stuff is all in a dozen "bankers' boxes" in 2 stacks right next to each other in a basement closet. I can stand there and be within 3 feet of all of it without knowing exactly where any of it is. :rolleyes:

My older brother was always super organized. When he moved to a different house years ago he carefully boxed up everything he wouldn't need right away, labeled each box with the contents, and stacked the dozen or so large boxes six feet high in the storage room. When he started looking for things he realized he had labeled the tops of the boxes instead of the sides. Had to unstack everything to see what was where.

😁 I should probably say, "Guilty as charged", since I noticed the same thing when I was looking for something about a month ago!
So I made some quickie Post-It notes to stick in better positions (don't know how well they'll stick in storage). But one of my stacks is still behind the other in the narrow closet, so I have to move the front stack if what I want isn't there.
