While I've always been drawn to the woods (love this thread!), this one is my favorite so far. Reclaimed American Chestnut. The tree has a history where I live, and the scales were made from an old Amish barn which also has some history for me. Win-win!

All are great knives, but the 112 has quite noticeable blade play, and only in the closed position. Open, lock up is like a bank vault.

I love that heritage jack, yours looks well used and like something found 100 years ago. I've been waiting for one to pop up on the exchange.... they are very hard to get a hold of and they do everything I wish GEC did on the boys knife (i love the boys knife though), NO RECESSED PINS! also a great shield.

Thanks man. Queen hit a home run with the heritage line. I know what you mean about hard to find. It took me a year to find the spearpoint...the clip version I found quickly.

You have excellent tastes. The single spear Heritage Jack is a sweet knife.

Picked up my Schrade Walden 163 this morning, in honor of Wooden Wednesday. This one sees a lot of use when it comes with me out on the boats.
