Wooden Wednesday - Traditionals only please

I was going to take another picture to try and get some of the wood grain a little better..... upon examining it, it's way dark.

Wow, Sarah! That's probably the nicest Weird Little Stubby Thing that I've seen in ages, maybe ever! Nice one!

OK I'm going to go ahead and call it. This is the strangest, sincere compliment I'll hear all week, surely even the rest of the month.

And in keeping with the thread, the Ebony #66 carries on.

:D

Thanks for the compliment, Alex!

For the uninitiated: Puukkoman coined a certain description (ahem) early-on in Charlie's Barlow thread in reference to GEC's previous barlows, the #25s:
I'm really looking forward to these, too. It's exciting to see GEC produce a REAL barlow, instead of that weird little stubby thing they've been making.

... Since then, "Weird Little Stubby Thing" has also been known to appear in its abbreviated form: WLST®.

To whit:
Sarah, the extent of your WLST collection continues to surprise me. :D

I have no idea how or why this 2011 floated up into someone's inventory in just past year as NOS, but I was glad to grab it-- all the more after realizing it was the knife pictured in GEC's representative picture of the same:

There are many great knives out there, but it really doesn't get better than that one.

For Wooden Wednesday I replaced my ubiquitous SW stockman with my light sabre boy's knife.
It's true: under electron microscopy, flesh actually starts to part before the edge makes contact! ;) :D

Wow, thanks. It is a great carry, I didn't think I'd like the Ebony that much, but it is amazingly smooth and soothing.

"WLST®" - Going now to write that one down.
