Woodlore Prototype up for grabs - FREE Giveaway

Whittling, carving, fuzz sticks, cleaning game.......

A chance for me to see what all the "Scandi" hype is about:D

Thanks Dan!

Looks great -- I'd use it backpacking and hiking, for a mix of fire prep and food.

Nice!

(and a very generous offer)

My girlfriend wanted to add that this knife would be good for "cuttin a biotch." LOL:D

Nice lookin little knife...Aid in bushcraft....yard work...outdoor photography....fishing....

Dan,

First I would like to thank you for a chance to own another one of your knives.

I think the knife would be a very good hiking camping knife. For general whittlin and food prep. The 3/32" scandi grind should cut like a light saber.

Being 6'4" & 295lbs. (+/-), my first thought is someone has finally had a brainstorm for us big guys & put a handle that fits my hand along with a small blade to do any of the tedious work chores we need it to do !!! What a great idea, & a sincere thank you from all of us "Big & Tall" folks who have a hell of a time finding "anything" that we can use successfully . . . :D
Thanks Dan.
Be safe.

Looks incredibly versatile, I think I'd use it for anything my chopper wouldn't do!

Thanks Dan, for the opportunity to own one of your knives!

That knife looks just about perfect to me. I can't stand 3 finger knives and have been looking at sub-3" knives with full sized handles (surprisingly hard to find). I find that 3" is all I need for 90% of what I do for every day tasks and when out in the woods, so I end up using a folder for more tasks than my fixed blade, although I prefer the convenience and safety of a fixed blade.

That looks like it would be a great little neck knfe with that kydex sheath (my preferred sheath material) for most of your bushcrafting needs. It looks like it would be great for trap making and would work fine for building a firebow set. It should excell at camp kitchen work and should work great for dressing and butchering small game.

The knife will be beyond easy to maintain, with a Scandi edge and 1095 steel. I hope you offer it in 154CM too, as I prefer stainless for neck knives if they're going to be against my skin. It would be great to offer it sans scales too, for a thin neck knife option.

I like the jimping a lot, although it might be nice to have additional jimping closer to the tip, to aid with traction during caping, gutting and other such tasks where you're cutting blindly.

I think you have a winner there, Dan.

I like the knife! I would use it for dressing and skinning deer. The full size handle would be just the ticket for these tasks.

Thanks

EDC, cleaning small game, food prep, day hikes. I like a handle like this that fills the hand, even with a smaller blade. Good stuff.

Looks like it would make a great little patch knife for black powder shootin'.

Also looks like a good woods companion to toos in yer back pocket, full size handle with a nice needle like point, it would make a great EDC for weed Walkin'.

Thanks for the giveawayI'll only enter once If I can't win with one entry than some one else was meant to get the knife.

Thanks again.

I think it would be good for fishing and hunting. Looks like it can make precise cuts.

Looks similar to your PSK that I have and absolutely love! Your scandi grinds are great and stay sharp for quite a long time...

Looks like this would make an awesome bushy, useful for all camp setup, fire prep, carving... One of the most useful designs/grinds out there in my opinion.

Thanks Dan!
