It looks like it would make an excellent small game knife and big game caper, as well as a comfortable edc/work knife. It's hard to find a smaller knife with a big, full-size handle.
bird and trout knife, carving, camp food chores, like peeling and such, good handy size when you don't feel like a big knife. Also looks good for making lunch.....
Man, what wouldn't that knife be good for?
Fuzz Sticks
Fire Making
Bushcraft work
Small/big game gutting and skinning
Fishing--cleaning fish, cutting bait
Basic camp chores
Every day carry for anything outdoors. Indoors too except the handle may be a tad big for some people.
A great knife for a teen or young adult to get into and learn bushcraft with...not too big, not too small, not too thick, not too thin. Just about perfect. I'd probably play with it for a while and then pass it along to my oldest son when I think he's ready for it.
Just about perfect for anything a knife can be used for with the exception of chopping and serious abuse.
Jeez, I like that enough that I'd probably use it to butter my toast every morning just to have an excuse to handle it some more.
looks like a great all around EDC knife. this is the perfect knife to take with you everywhere you go. itd be just as good cutting up cardboard as it would making traps out in the woods. great job on this one! i love how it sits in the sheath, this would definitely be very comfortable to carry.
I'll agree with many of the previous posts. It looks like and excellent bird and trout knife! Personally, I really value a point on a knife like this for cleaning fish and rabbit. It works very well. And you don't need a lot of blade for small tasks.
It also looks great for wood carving knife and fuzz sticks.
Thanks for the opportunity Dan! This is a very generous offer for you to make!!
Cool knife, the liners make it POP. Light and controllable. Good for whittling, food prep, hunting, and pretty much everything with the exception of chopping/ bat-toning.
Sweet looking little knife, Dan! Love the yellow liners on that one. I just picked up some thin yellow g-10 to try as liner material myself:thumbup:
That little sucker looks like it would be perfect for having on my belt when the kids and I are out walking with the dog in South Tahoe. We like to go on woods walks and my little girls always ask me to carve them a quick walking stick for their adventure around Sawmill Pond or Angora Lake or wherever we may be tromping that day. That blade would make a great bark skinner
