Woods weapons, are they really neccessary

Wow. :thumbdn:

I have to applaud some of you guys. Not content to exercise your own freedoms the way you see fit, you have to insult those who choose to operate differently and suggest that we ought to see the light and do things your way, because to do anything else would simply be irresponsible.

It's this sort of attitude that always drives these threads into the ground.

Seems they forgot that freedom is about CHOICE.
Those who trumpet loudest about freedom often seem to be the least willing to extend it to others.

I wonder how many people that do not carry here have benefited by those that do carry without knowing it when out in nature? Different predator like bears and cougars interact differently when man does not hunt them, thus making them more likely to become a threat.

Likewise, human predation by other humans is lessened when the predator is concerned he my get shot attempting an attack.

Something to consider.

Dunno why folks have to argue about who is right and who is wrong when it concerns firearms and the carrying/use of them.

Let and let live I say. :)

Respect is so uncommon in society ! Let's not drag that to our wonderful knife forum.

Anyways a cool little story.

Mt girlfriends folks live up in the mountains about an hour or so from our house , we went up there for Thanksgiving , her brother brought his skeet trap ( unbeknownst to me ) , me being told I could a rifle and do some shootin' brought my Bulgarian AK... Pretty hard to shoot those moving suckers with 7.62 :D
Well I'm not much of a shotgun guy and my girlfriend got three in a row !

How many did I get out of fifteen pulls ?

Zero..... Hey at least I know she can defend us with the shotgun :D :D
