Woodsman's Pal mod?

Well I called Pro-Tool(Woodsman's Pal) and they told me they couldn't swap out my handle and attach the d-guard, but they would take my old one as a trade-in on a new one with the features I wanted added. I told them I appreciate the offer, but it was a gift. So looks like I'll try to make it part of the Grivory club.

42Blades---that tool looks like a medieval be-heading sword/axe, especially if it had a longer handle. Scary/wicked looking for sure. But i like it.

It's designed to handle everything from grasses to hardwoods and it was a year and a half in development, and it has a lot of design features that aren't necessarily obvious! Now I just need to find a source for 1075/1080, 1095, or 5160 in thickness under 1/8" but nearly 5" wide so it isn't as heavy. :o It still works great (especially on the heavy stuff) but it's heftier than I want--if I can find suitable stock in 2mm it'd be perfect.

Got some spare Camillus grivory in, looks like it's a go. I'll hafta mod the steel under the handles some, basically drill a couple holes. It currently as two holes where the Beckers have three. Anybody know how to remove tge handle bolsters without damaging the wood?

What I'm working with:
