WOOTZ blade folder.

Please. That is a work of art, and the pictures took my breath away.

To remove it so quickly or even to offer it for $415 in the first place says you are not so certain of the worth of your work. I think you feel insulted that no one bought it. You have not thought this through completely. I for one have limited funds, and would sell something happily to purchase this folder, or some other item yet to be made, in wootz. The artists who are willing and able to work in this material I can count on my fingers. You should not have any worry that you are not appreciated for the skill you show.

It is more that we do not wish to hurry, for such a thing. It is greedy and rude, and we wish to appear dignified and gentlemen.

I tell you if you offer it for $415 you are selling very 'reasonably' indeed. It might take me two weeks, even longer, to find the money, and it would not wait so long, so I do not even bother to offer. But will it sell? Ha. You will sell other knives, because you made this one. Can you do it again? Will you make more in wootz?

People will pay to SEE these knives. I am not joking. Make more.

Dmitry, you are quite right when in an earlier post you stated that we (most of us here) do not understand wootz.
i like your knife but always need to understand a knife before buying it.
please give a brief explanation of wootz and what particular performance qualities it brings to a blade.
it would help me decide and perhaps a few other people as well.

How I wish I could have afforded it now ;)

AFAIK your hunter and kephart made from your wootz performed great during the last cow skinning and they maintained their sharpness after used
