Wore my knife to work yesterday...

hallmark(yeah the greeting card maker-headquartered in kansas city) has fired numerous employees the last few yrs for carry very traditional "gentlemens" pocket knives. they have a no tolerance policy regarding weapons and unfortunately many folks consider knives nothing more than weapons

:grumpy:That's a shame, as a knife is a tool. One that may be used as a weapon to be sure, but so could a hammer, or screwdriver, or paper cutter, . . .

I edc my RC-4 and my Izula on a daily basis. The 4 is strapped to the outside of my Maxpedition Lunada and my Izula is either on my person somewhere or inside the Lunada. Sometimes I will carry the 4 on my hip (not a big problem since I work in law enforcement and I don't have to conceal it).

My work is pretty cool about weaponry, even with their insurance company driven policies. We just keep it low profile. My CEO borrowed my griptilian to cut some string that he was using to tie up a rotisserie turkey last Thanksgiving.
