Cool, Eric, I've actually seen that before, but, seeing as it is a crash axe, I knew it would be impractical to own one as anything more than a collectible. And I like blades that work hard and heavy, not ones that sit on the sidelines and complain about their master not using them. Not that I am recommending you get rid of it, who knows, you might get in a crash someday, and need an awesome crash axe, or you just might need to chop wood, and with nothing else available, take your handy crash axe and split/chop some logs. But I am speaking to a blade enthusiast, so when will a good blade not be available at your disposal, I wonder. You sure seem to have a quite a collection, I hope to be as great a collector of blades as you... and everyone else on the forums, for that matter. Oh, and while that rust does give that crash axe some mad character, I would definitely advice some steel wool or other abrasive treatment to get it off STAT, that, or keep it in a kind of vacuum sealed glass case or something until use is required. But, yeah, thank you for sharing it, I always wondered what the interior hole in the steel was for, does anyone know? Maybe for breaking sticks and bones in half or something like that? Yeah, and I or someone else should absolutely start a picture thread, it would be legendary, to me, at least, to be able to see everyone's collections frozen in action or something. Okay, peace everyone.
