It seems to me, Bob, that I am on some kind of a mission that began
in 2003, with my first adventure into this amazing world... And I truly
and constantly enjoy every day, every hour and every minute of this
challenging experience!

Both Julie and I just received the first samples of her new book!
I am very pleased with the result and she says she is too.... :)

It was a wonderful one year long trip!!

The main shipment, shipped by sea will probably reach LA by
the end of February and will arrive at Julie's place probably
by early March!!

Yep, Julie - I am definitely on pins and needles, so much looking forward to the books arriving there for distribution!

For the 24 page WIP "Workshop Section" in Julie's book
I stayed in Utah for 7 days.
I did the detailed photography of the whole process of her creating
an ART DAGGER from RAW MATERIALS.

Here is the first and last picture in this section.
The BEFORE and AFTER full page displays... :) :)

Piece of cake, anyone can do that :D But seriously, now you can see what it takes to get from raw materials to something that beautiful....great job.

There are so many aspects to this book, it's just incredible. This process section looks to be quite interesting,

An update on the books that are on their way to julie:

So far all is well. The shipment is held up for inspection in LA and
then will travel by land to Julie's doorstep.... :)

A week or so into March and she will probably have the books...

I received my copy of the book today.

I have only gotten part of the way through it, but so far I have really enjoyed it. The pictures are very, very high quality - as I have come to expect from David's books. It will make a nice addition to my library of knife books.

Congrats to Julie and David on a terrific book.
 
Just received my copy today also. It is very high quality, well done, with numerous knives that i've not seen before.
