Workman's knives collection coming together...somewhat.

Along with a Buck lock-back the Schrade LB-7 +34ot are used on more construction sites than any other knives:)also TL-29's..now a days the one -handers ie flippers and assist openers are in with the younger hands,I even need one with a reliable multitool on the belt:cool:

Thank you all for the contributions so far. It's been a pleasant read. I realise that there are some gaps to be filled, some sooner than others.
I'll first get to know my new purchases a bit better and see from there on out.

I guess you're right.

What's that? I can't hear you over the sound of my Opinels :D.

That's not counting the one in my car, first aid kit and kitchen drawer... There's a WIP in there as well. I guess you can say I kinda like Opinel knives.

Hilarious. Well played, Sir :D

I just would call it a bunch of much underrated but very good knives! Their simple carbon steel is excellent for easy sharpening and holding an edge!

Been carrying the Sodbuster since it arrived a few days ago. I'm amazed at how quickly it develops a patina. Shouldn't be surprised though since I've been cutting a bunch of apples in order to make applesauce, as well as a bunch of our greenhouse tomatoes to make tomato juice.

The before and after shows it all...

I really like it but I would prefer it to be flat ground instead of hollow. The size is straight up my alley though. That's why this one made my pocket before the RR barlow (a bit small) or the Mercator (err, too big). Been pretty happy with my purchases thus far.
