New to this site. Allow to be briefley introduce myself. I am located in Ohio, and I guess I would be considered a "Picker'. I do allot of traveling and always looking for those unique item, mainly to flip (sale), although I do keep some. With that said.
Just obtained what I believe is a unique item. In doing some research, which lead me to this site, I can't seem to find another. Here is the scoop.
Found a small 3 1/8" DIA, 2" Tall round tin. It is surrounded by a leather stitch surrounding.
Stitch reads: "THE WORLD HONE"
Inside
A unique round, hand held HONE.
Along with the tin and HONE is the small 2" x 2" instruction piece and also the larger (Oil Paper) instruction sheet.
To me this is a very, very unique item.
Now, members of this forum would know more, so allow me to ask - post these questions:
1. Can you tell me the age of this HONE ?
2. Any idea on the value - collectiblity of this HONE ? (probably will be listing it on eBay).
3. Any body on this forum interested in this HONE ?
