This is the first time I dealt with World Wide Knives (last Thurs)I got my knives yesterday. Mailed out speedily ,acurate order and ,the best part is their shipping is only $6.00 if it's one item or ten AND regardless of weight!:D I'm so pleased with their service I put in two more orders today(at seperate times) the items will be shipped together(7 knives) for the same $6.00. Can you tell I get excited over the shipping costs?? I hate a company that the more you order from them the more they charge,to me it's like hey I'm buying from you and you want to punish me?? Anyway their prices, customer service and shipping method/style are AWSOME!!!!!!:D :D :D :D :D :D

Don't know about the knives you ordered but I just checked WWK's prices on the Kershaw Ken Onions and you'd be nuts to buy at those high prices. Here's a comparison to KnifeWorks, where I recently ordered these KO blades, below:

WWK
Leek, plain $56.95
Scallion, blue anod., plain $49.95

KniveWorks
Leek, plain $41.99 (+ $5.95 ship)
Scallion, blue anod., plain $35.99 (+ $8.75 ship)

In spite of the bargain you think your getting on the $6 shipping, it looks like your paying a premium on the merchandise.

The knives I bought were a little more high end than the one's you mentioned. Rather than paying the approx. $175.00 internet prices I paid in the range of $115.00-$125.00 also I bought several without the shipping cost going up with the more you order as with most other places. I have dealt with KW and they DO have decent prices. It's just what I want I usually have to wait for it to come from their distributor,to them, then to me. I am very impatient when I order a knife. If I find something I want I order it. Then,I expect delivery in a timely matter. If I pay with card on phone or online I expect my purchase within four days MAX!!

I am like that too.
I got my stuff in three days and Happy.
Their EKI price seems fine to me.
I bought tow CQC-7 from them.

Sounds like you got a good deal in the long run, and you didn't get "hosed".

Just goes to show, it all depends on the knife you're buying, the price range you're looking at, and your gratification threshold (how long you can wait). Probably no one dealer has the best prices on all the blades in their inventory. You always gotta shop around and check the forum for the flakey dealers before you buy.

Glad you're a happy camper.

Cheers,
