Mornin' all. What on the agenda for today? I mean other than watching that bad a** Swabie video again.
morning! I will be making sheaths, grinding metal, sanding and mailing packages!

I've been hitting the weights and somewhat dieting and lost 20 pounds, I can do 3 full chest to the floor and back up one handed push ups, I haven't been able to do them since high school! My lower back pain is gone, knees don't hurt! No pain killers/meds, no alcohol, no soda, no juice, no junk food, (no more Bacon double cheeseburgers:eek:).. all I've been drinking for the last 2 years is water, "water on the rocks, shaken not stirred":D.

That is awesome, congrats. I need to get serious and drop some weight, I am slowly losing some through diet changes, but I need to get a workout plan going.

Nice work 710! I'm trying to lose 10 lbs and have also cut out alcohol. Been running more and started a more serious training program. Looking to be fit for the summer and really fit for the fall!

Getting ready for work. Have to get some caffeine in my system or today is not going to be pretty. Spending 6 hours at Uni working.
 
You need a Swabbie for that! You can cut the whole floor in half with one swing!

Yikes, sounds like a big job. Just the surface or the substructure?

We cut part of the floor out, and replaced the whole thing. New floor joists, 3/4 tongue and groove, etc. There's 2 more parts that need cut out and replaced, both about a 4x8 area, which works out good for a 4x8 sheet of 3/4 plywood. One section is a total redo, but the other is just removing the flooring, and replacing it. After that's done, I'm taking the back door out, and putting a window there. Was never used anyways, and there's another door in the back. Then I'm drywalling, and painting. Then I'll lay the luan down over the floor, and my cousin is installing new linoleum. Then, I can put the new cabinets, countertops, sink, faucet, and stove hood in, then the trim, then hopefully done.

OMG - Yep, a pretty big job. Sounds like a full reno. Post some pics when your done!

Yeah, it pretty much is. New lights, light switches, receptacles, etc. Our house is over 100 years old.

On a side note, I just got back from feeding our squirrel. He's not a pet, but a squirrel that frequents our front yard. We named him Roscoe. He comes up on the porch when my wife and I's out there, but he won't let us pet him. We feed him on a semi regular basis. He likes to take the nuts, and go bury them.

You sir, are INSANE! Holy jeez that is a lot you are doing can't wait to see the pictures though. That should turn out nice. Do you have colors already picked out?

LOL! I wish. In an ideal world I would like to drop down to 135, but that's a pretty hard weight for me to maintain. I'll settle for 137-139. The extra weight makes a huge diff when climbing and I have some goals for the fall. I not getting any younger and the weight is getting harder to drop...Guess it doesn't that I was hitting the sauce pretty hard over the winter!
 
Good lord I just read the entirety of this thread. I think I need a nap now. So, here's some food for thought. Weed is a downer, right? It slows you down. Now imagine if WW didn't smoke. Yeah, just blew your mind didn't it?
