Does it work better with the draft door open to the left or right? Also, what if your sausage won't fit on it?
 
Got another section of floor done today. Yee haw. Brother and I went to a neighboring town to get a few supplies. We ran into a hell of a storm on the way home. I thought for a minute we were in a tornado, the wind was so bad. It wasn't, just extremely high winds. A few trees down, etc.

Happy Memorial Day everyone!

I broke my pinky yesterday, still hurts but at least I'm starting to regain feeling into it..
 
Thinking about running down to the Co-op and picking up a Whisperlite International while they're on sale (ends today).
Always figured this would be a good stove for an emergency kit since it will burn just about anything that... well... burns.
I've got the dividend to cover it easily. I found it $10 cheaper online, but the Co-op service and guarantee is just damn hard to beat.
 
Today's dinner... Left over tip-tip, Italian spicy sausage from Sundays BBQ, breakfast ham and ground turkey chopped up in a food processor added to spaghetti noodles and chunky mushroom spaghetti sauce.... Good stuff.
 
I have been assured by a very knowing American of my acquaintance in London, that a young healthy child well nursed is at a year old a most delicious, nourishing, and wholesome food, whether stewed, roasted, baked, or boiled; and I make no doubt that it will equally serve in a fricassee or a ragout.
