The most glorious moment of my HS years was scoring four touchdowns in a single game while playing for the Polk High School Panthers in the 1966 city championship game versus Andrew Johnson High School. Including the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds against my old nemesis, "Spare Tire" Dixon.
You, on the other hand, went on to win the All-Valley Karate Championship.I played traveling team hockey and we took 4th in state(Illinois). Then the guys that I played with went on to win the National Championship at the Jr College level.
