Worst "modded" knives you've seen posted?

Can I just ask why??

While definitely not something I would ever want to do, I've seen far uglier.

Those BM 710's were done with a DMT xxcoarse diamond stone. The thumb studs I would have saved, but the 710 lost me with the recurve.

I mean no offense to the owner of this knife. It is unique and I am sure has it's benefits, but I have to post this here:

Ugly yes. Worst no.

I'd pay more for this one than the original. I like the blade profile. Found it better for cutting in my experience.

Plus the hole was done right IMO. Should be just as strong as compared to a blade of the same profile but no hole (and no hump).

I recall seeing a Spyderco where someone had taken a torch to the blade to get "pretty colors".

The worst re-profiling job I've ever seen someone boast about:

Not just the blade, but the thumbstuds too ;)

that is pretty bad, i dont guess they had heard of tom krien lol, imho they ruined two excellent knives, the studs are what does it for me, terrible.

Maybe he was going for "look" of the 45* angle thumb studs on the Kershaw Blur? :)

Save for the thumbstuds, I don't think that's all that bad. If I got a 710, I would want to get rid of the recurve, too.
