I guess I am just sick, but I willadmit to reading GBU threads from time to time just to see the perverse dealings of the dishonest and honor deficient. After all, the other postings are essentially the same (fast shipping, geat deal, honest, blah, blah... useful but not exactly a great read)

So, I am proposing that we can chime in with (ideally) one name for the most miserable pondscum of all bf history. Now surely there should be an appropriate reward and I have an empty Sebenza box that I am willing to fill with a POS Chinese knockoff that my Scouts broke. I am willing to mail it to the most despicable pond scum with a "suitable for framing" award. That is if we can find an address for it!

Im not a long timer here SO just speaking from personal expierence...Artsig1
and dont send him SHIT please :-) FOR SOOOO many reasons IMHO he takes the cake....

I'm not sure if it happened here at Bladeforums or not, being a relative newcomer, but the Filicieti guy, Steve,I believe.
Most every Bowie of his I've
gotten to view, I would have taken great pleasure in owning. If this doesn't
belong here just let me know.
I mention him for a number of reasons, the most recent was a thread in Customs where it was discussed if it were ethicly moral to buy one on the secondary market.

Great talent. Wasted. :thumbdn:

There are quite a few that deserve such recognition !

In my book, the top two have to be. . . .

1. Alan Blade:

He holds a very high position, due to his long-term committment to being a POS and his ability to reach many lands.

2. ArtSig:

Another thieving POS that painted his BS with a very large brush and on so many knife knut forum walls. He was able to reach out and steal from so many.

Honorable mention has to also go out to Rief the Thief, for his ability to take what does not belong to him.

As much as I want to say Allan Blade, I am going to go with Steve Corkum. He has ripped people off for so much that he makes Allan look like a piker.

Honorable mention goes to Art Sigmon and Vlad Pavlov.

You know, I rarely post on things like this, but I have to say Artsig1. I've never been motivated to contribute a donation to help repay people before (I don't have that much money myself), but I DID kick in what I could to get this person's debts repaid elsewhere in the knife world of the internet. I don't think I've ever seen someone's rep turn to crap so quickly ever. Other than that, since he's still allowed among knife people in some places (now passing himself off as Artsig2.0 or whatever the phuck he's calling himself) I'd have to put him VERY high on the list of pond scum here. Of course, my apologies to pond scum everywhere for associating Art with them.

That he continues to act as if nothing ever happened, and to accuse those he wronged and never repaid of being unfeeling, ungrateful, hateful people is just one of the many less-than-endearing qualities of the man. 'Nuff said.

corkum, alan blade, & reif in no particular order, imho it would be a 3 way tie for the honors.

I whole heartedly concur that we need to make a list of the worst offenders, so that no one else is swindled, but I would like to see a list of the best makers, members and dealers to deal with as well.

From what I've seen, guys like Artsig1, Allan Blade and Steve Corkum are the POS Trifecta.

The list would be incredibly long.

For a thread with "history" in the title, so far there has been no mention of any scum who don't have current threads about them....

Dennis Sweetster, AKA "TTO" ranks up there with the most infamous scumbags of all time.

Wolf - did Dennis screw someone on trade or buy/ sell or is he just a prick?

I mean, I get it he's a dirt-chute and all that, but in the initial effort, I'd like to see a simple mod-driven and posted thread about who to look out for when buying/ selling/ trading, with LINKS to the specific threads in question, as opposed to a 97-page thread in which everyone can post.

That said, I'd like to see that carpet-stain/ daddy's-had-way-too-much-to-drink-mistake Kyle Eich up there as well. Not only for his arrogance in screwing the Italian guy on the balisong mod but then for hiding behind his buddies and refusing to cough up the knife or cash as would a reasonable person.

Either one of these guys deserve an honorable mention, as well as the cornhole who wrote the story in the Wall Street Journal today about the dangers of tactical knives, singling out a CA-based retail store, Ernest Emerson, Benchmade and Buck Knives (among others) and tried to insinuate that the tacti-cool folder is responsible all by itself for a rise in edge-weapon felonies. Page one, second section. If I get creative, I'll have the office computer geek scan it and I'll post it at BFC and Tac Forums.

I'd like to see the bad guys lit up with a 22-point blaze orange warning font, something that can be read in about 3 minutes or so by the new folks in town, as well as perused by us old-timers over a few glasses of good red wine or scotch on a dull Saturday evening.

I don't think the good guys need a sticky, since they are easy to find and really, and don;t anyone take this the wrong way, does New Graham, the Busse Guys or Bark River to determine they're pretty okay to deal with? A few seconds spent with the search button will do most anyone just fine, BUT -

Allan Blade's most recent ass-whooping thread was 60-some pages, 1200-some posts and it started "Allan Blade gets a Thumbs-Up."

This is a guy who NEEDS 28-point ON-FIRE font!

Corkum is a top-line scuzbag as well! $3,000 gets a visit from the AG from this side of the net.

Art Sigmon, I got a weird vibe from him years back here and never bought from him. I am sorry he suckered a lot of folks for a LOT of money.

Guys like this NEED and DESERVE a huge sticky.

Not only that, but wherever you get on the net where the Knife Community is trading, maybe post a link up about it as well. The British Blades guys I guess did not want to see the light until a few of them got butt-f()cked as well. That's too bad, but a bunch of you guys tried to do right by them. It's a shame that it's easier to hide your head in the peat/ sand/ mulch/ coral than it is to admit you've been had, but in the end, Allan showed his true colors.

So I appluad this idea, and I apologize to the mods for suggesting that maybe you guys ought to run it and be the only ones to post to it, with suggestions for the wall of deserved ass-whoopings emailed or PM'd to you, along with appropriate examples of bad behavior. However, it is a way to prevent this thing from getting WAY out of control.

I'll also offer another item here - I'm a member of JerzeeDevil.com - it's al little off-beat hole-in-the-wall knife forum with a little over 1000 members last I looked.

Mr. LaBella, a member here, ownns and runs it, and he added a little GBU-type place of his own.

However, he asked that ANYONE with ANY feedback on ANYONE in the net-trading world, from ANY forum, feel free to post it.

I'm not advocating quite the same free-wheeling attitude here, since BFC is freaking immense. However, since this is the largest blade-trader's post on the net, I'd suggest that some sort of reciprocity for at least the bad eggs maybe can be worked out on a handshake basis.

It's a small world guys, and with a little effort, we can make it smaller for dirt-holes and their ilk.

Just my two cents, which I've been thinking about all day in the back of my head.

Sweetser screwed Glockman (Dann) on a deal for a small amount of money, but overall, he was just a prick.

Many of these guys may have current threads about them, but some of the stuff with them started happening many years ago.

There is one guy I remember from the old days that would be right at home with those already mentioned, Ted Wood. He ripped off a lot of BF members. Another one was Blademan007, aka Mike White.
