Worst Scum in GB&U history?

One more time, there is not going to be any moderator-chosen list or sticky thread; Bladeforums gets sued quite often enough, thank you. I expect I'll have to repost that every month or two for as long as this forum endures, but there are worse things....

what are you guys doing that one person can screw multiple people? is it too fast for someone to post negative info here?

someone mentioned getting taken for $3000... is that in one transaction?

do any of you guys use escrow or anything?

what the heck do you guys get sued for?

what if some non-mod poster made a thread that he edited the first post when there were updates?

Why do people want a moderator (or someone) to make up their minds for them? Are people sheep? There is no substitute for searching this forum (and the net) for anyone you're considering doing business with.

It usually only takes a minute. On the rare occasions when you find a controversy, there's no substitute for reading as much of it as you need to make up your own mind. Even then it usually doesn't take long....

searching is hard :)

actually, i guess the biggest problem with a list like that would probably be 3rd party info, and who do you believe in a dispute?

Either one of these guys deserve an honorable mention, as well as the cornhole who wrote the story in the Wall Street Journal today about the dangers of tactical knives, singling out a CA-based retail store, Ernest Emerson, Benchmade and Buck Knives (among others) and tried to insinuate that the tacti-cool folder is responsible all by itself for a rise in edge-weapon felonies. Page one, second section. If I get creative, I'll have the office computer geek scan it and I'll post it at BFC and Tac Forums.

no need to scan it - another newspaper has it online - http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/06206/708441-28.stm

I do like the "search feature" when deciding to deal with someone or not. This way I get to see "why" they are on a good or bad list. I like the details. What bothers someone else may not be an issue for me and visa versa.

The $3,000 is a combination of two separate orders, one personal, and the other was an order unfilled placed by the shop where I used to work.

Corkum smarted up, he requested funds via Fedex.

And he is currently incommunicado, all numbers I have are no longer valid.

As I was scammed out of $300 worth of knives and then had to pay the makers about $#2500 and am STILL paying the merchant bankers on the $3000 CC charges, I vote for Vlad Pavlov!
