Would anyone be interested in a titanium Katana?

Doesn't have to be when its a forum existance..

visit dfoggknives's forum sometime.. It's freakin friendly.

Don Fogg fosters a certain environment, and clamps down or outright boots people when it gets too contentious.

We, as custom knife collectors, reserve the right to harsh on each other...it builds character.:D

Amen and Shalom bro! Kinda like the story about that Boy Named Sue. Forum life (and life in general) is pretty similar ... "I knew you'd have to get tough or die" ...

Frisky Dogg, best of luck with your project. If it sells for the amount you ask, I would consider your project a success.

It's the same way in the Maker's area, Steven. We are trying to foster better bladesmiths. You could post you work in another forum and get all the "looks good", "Keep up the great work!" replies to inflate your ego.... or you can get actual constructive feedback from your peers and some of the most talented makers in the industry.... AND IT'S FREE! This place is awesome!!!

When I was 10, I made a wakizashi from a 1/4" thick piece of aluminum that I found in the garage by draw filing it (didn't even know what draw filing was at the time) -but anyway, it looked pretty damn nice.

The first thing I tested it on was a juniper branch, the blade tried to wrap itself around it. Titanium won't be any better.

A bit older and wiser these days .... try making your sword from 5160 instead. You'll be a lot happier with the way it cuts. ;)
