Would anyone else like to see a broader "salt" line?

Yep, that's actually a good suggestion. Not a matriarch, and not specifically designed as an sd knife I don't think, but you could certainly do some damage in a pinch.

H1 is probably out for the american made models, but I wouldn't mind seeing something like N680 or Vanax as high performance rust resistant sprint runs.
 
I think they have the salt models pretty nailed down for now. it just makes sense to have no nonsense, light weight designs with this steel. a model with a 50/50 choil would be nice, though.
 
whoops, I knew that. I meant a full sized and "normal" type blade :p think Pacific salt or salt 1 with a choil.

dfly is too small to qualify for what I think some people want here, and the saver blade is too specialized.

NOW I've got somebody on my side! Native wouldn't be my first choice, but probably the best option of the designs already being made in Japan. I would take it over a salt 1 for sure!
 
I'd totally be down for other h1 variants. A salt PM2 would be the bomb with Ti liners, but replacing all these parts with 100% rust proof materials (a key feature of the salt line) is rather expensive. The easiest and the path spyderco chose to circumvent this issue is to go linerless. I really hope they do expand the line though.
 
The Enuff family, or if we can't have the whole family I'll settle for the sheep's foot. Black or yellow FRN.

Oh, and how 'bout an H1 marlinspike???
 
Call me crazy, but I would love a Stretch Salt. Can't you just see a yellow one next to these two?

Don't need a "high end", read, over priced safe queen; Salt's are meant to be used and abused, and the reward is they won't rust on you, no matter how hostile the environment. Now, I wouldn't mind a Delica 4 Salt, or a Caly 3 Salt, with additional scale colors, such as orange, zombie green, and for the tactical practical in you, in a foliage/camo scheme.
 
I'd like to see some sort of throwback sprint run of the Mariner in H1 steel and with titanium handles instead of SS.
