Would this bother you?

Doesn't surprise me unfortunately, having bad experiences with repairs and replacements, Buck is letting these knives go with zero quality control. It's sad to see no one cares.

IMO , this particular dissymmetry is a design feature , not a QC issue .

Ok, after a couple of days mulling over the input from you all, I've made a decision. I think I'm going to keep my special AG 110 and use it. And one day if I find another that is perfect, I'll buy it too for my collection. It's not that I don't trust Buck to make things right, it's just the time it would take to make it so maybe isn't (at least in my mind) worth the effort. I checked with my local Cabela's and they aren't in stock at this point. Besides, I default to the old adage, "a bird in the hand..."

EVERYTHING else on the knife is beautiful as well as functional. And I'm sure whatever I am cutting with it won't care. I think I'll call it my swayback hunter.

I kinda got to feeling bad after I posted this on Saturday and then jumped into the conversation as I did, because I got to thinking I sure wouldn't want my mistakes aired on the internet for all to see and then discuss. And I make a lot of them BTW. Most every Buck I have ever purchased has been perfect. Especially for what I use them for. I appreciate the way Buck does business. They produce a ton of products that are not only beautiful but useful AND affordable - and I hope they do it for years to come. I think that's something we can all agree on. If it's not, the Buck sub-forum is a silly place to be hanging out then...

Thanks again for the comments! On some level, I think I can identify with every one of them.
